The real estate experts of Greif & Contzen have arranged for the sale of two commercial properties in Cologne-Bilderstöckchen: The public utility company Stadtwerke Köln GmbH acquired the plots on Robert-Perthel-Strasse 18 and Longericher Strasse 199 with a combined size of around 12,635 square metres from the brewery Privatbrauerei Gaffel Becker & Co. oHG. Planning provides for the premises to be used by the waste management company AWB Abfallwirtschaftsbetriebe Köln GmbH.

Gaffel is currently operating a barrel filling plant for their popular brand of Kölsch beer on the plots that feature around 5,300 square metres of warehouse and ancillary space. The official transfer of ownership of the plots in Cologne-Bilderstöckchen is scheduled for early 2021. The current Kölsch filling facility will then become a depot and logistics site.
